The Nigeria Police has arrested three principal suspects in the Zamfara massacre that took place about two weeks ago.
A statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood said that the three suspects arrested are Halilu Garba (alias Mabushi), aged 45 years; Zubairu Marafa (alias Wakili), aged 45 years and Nafiu Badamasi (alias Zakiru), aged 40 years.
According to the statement, “The three principal suspects have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force for participating in the recent Zamfara killings,” adding that the suspects were in Police custody and “assisting in the investigation of the crime.”
It added that the suspects would be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.
