(Nigerian news,Politics,Breaking News) The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has constituted a sixty-man National Campaign Council for the November 16 gubernatorial election in Anambra State. The committee is headed by the Vice President, Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo, while Barr. Victor Kwon, the Party’s National Legal Adviser will serve as Secretary.
The Council will be inaugurated tomorrow, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the National Secretariat of the party. A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh said the committee is expected to work round the clock to ensure the victory of the party in the election. The statement further called on all members of the PDP to close ranks and support the party’s candidate, Comrade Tony Nwoye.
