The Police Command in Enugu State on Wednesday commenced full scale investigation into the fire incident that engulfed milling section of Ogbete Main Market, Enugu.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 35 shops in the grind-milling section of market, several huge milling machines and grains meant for milling were totally destroyed by the inferno.
NAN gathered that no life was lost, but the traders lost millions of Naira during incident that occurred at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Command’s spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu, told NAN that police operatives began the investigation to ascertain the cause of the inferno. (NAN)
