The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to put up a superlative performance to guarantee Nigeria a place in the next African Cup of Nations championship.
Nigeria managed to salvage a 2-draw in the game on Wednesday against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.What was actually needed was an outright victory by Nigeria.
But poor defending by Nigeria and failure of the attackers to take their chances became their undoing.
With Wednesday’s draw the Super Eagles , the defending champions will be missing in action at the next tournament.
For Nigeria, it’s back to the drawing board .
