Kano State Fire Service says it has concluded arrangements to train 370 additional staff on fire-fighting, to enhance the performance of the service this year.
The Public Relations Officer of the service, Alhaji Saidu Mohammed, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kano.
Mohammed said that the staff would be trained on modern methods of fire-fighting.
He said that 325 staff were trained last year at the Fire Service Training College, Dakata, Nassarwa Local Government Area of Kano State.
He further said that some of the staff were still undergoing training at the college and advised them to be diligent in their work. (NAN)
