Explosion Rocks Football Viewing Centre in Damaturu

An explosion has rocked a soccer viewing centre at Damaturu in Yobe State, North East Nigeria.AFP reported that the blast occurred just as soccer fans gathered to watch a match between Brazil and Mexico in the on-going World Cup tournament in Brazil
The was no immediate report of deaths but the injured were rushed to hospital
Yobe State Police Commissioner,Sanusi Rufai confirmed to AFP that “There was an explosion outside a soccer viewing centre here in Damaturu at around 8:15pm.
He continued:”Our men have deployed to the scene but it’s too early for us to give details”.
The news agency also reported that the incident occurred at the Crossfir e venue in Damaturu.
A similar explosion occurred at a soccer viewing centre in Adamawa state killing many people recently .
