Unknown gunmen have killed 5 men in a community at Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.
This was disclosed during Senate plenary on Thursday by Senator Emmanuel Bwacha representing Taraba South at the Senate.
Bwacha who relied on Senate standing order 43 said he receive a report that the unknown gunmen invaded the Community in Takum and killed the 5 men.
He wondered why the activities of the unknown gunmen have continued without adequate response from the security agencies to address the issue.
Bwacha also disagreed that the unknown gunmen are herdsmen but stated that they are insurgents displaced from Borno. ”
This unknown gunmen are not herdsmen but insurgent displaced from Borno” Bwacha said.
