‘How I Survived Machete Attack’-Victim

A 22- year-old man, Moses Sunday, who narrowly escaped death recently in madalla has said that a group of boys numbering 10 attacked him with machetes where he had gone to watch a football match.

He said the guys were actually on a revenge mission as they had had problems in the past.

He said one of them Darlington arranged with other boys to deal with him adding: “Four months ago, I slapped him over a deed I cannot remember again. Now that I am back he came to me and challenged me, saying if I could still repeat the act.”

Sunday narrated his ordeal to Newsdiaryonline on his hospital bed, said “I was being randomly beaten by the guys who had pushed me down to the floor. One of the boys then took his machete and inflicted a deep cut on me.

“I was ordered to be thrown into the bush while I was still begging them even in a pool of my blood, I pretended to have fainted and they ran away.”

Sunday said but for some residents who took him to Lucas hospital Madalla and went to Madalla ‘C’ Division to make a report, he would have been dead.

When contacting, the Divisional Police Officer of ‘C’ Division Madalla, Na’Allah Mohammed said Darlington and his friend has been arrested and charged to court.
