The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar III has promised to support the management of Kaduna Electric in ensuring provision of stable power supply to the people of Sokoto State.
The Sultan made this remark while receiving a delegation from the company’s Sokoto Area Office recently in his palace.
The Royal Father commended the company’s untiring efforts towards improving power supply to the people of Sokoto state while assuring them of his unflinching support towards the success of the company, which he said, will be mutually beneficial.
According to him, “the progress you are making as a company is worthy of note given the enormous challenges besetting the nation’s power supply industry. This is why we will mobilize our people to give you all the support you need to facilitate the provision of stable power supply to people of the Caliphate and beyond”.
The Sultan called on the people to reciprocate Kaduna Electric’s effort at providing electricity by prompt payment of their bills.
Earlier in an address, the Business Development &Relationship Officer, Sokoto Area Office, Mal. Abubakar Hashim Ibrahim said that the courtesy visit was part of effort by the company to extend its hands of friendship and partnership to the Sokoto Sultanate Council.
He went further to thank the Sultan for his continued assistance and support while praying that he succeeds in leading the people of the state.
Mal. Ibrahim also applauded the Sultanate Council for creating an environment that is conducive to the smooth operations of the company, noting that all the company has been able to achieve is due to the support from the Sultanate.
