Nigeria Women League Gets New Scribe

    The Board of the Nigeria Women League has appointed Mr Issac Sunday Ajisafe as its new Executive Secretary. Mr Ajisafe takes over from Mr Danlami Alanana who has since been redeployed to the Secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation.

    Born on 19th August, 1965, in Efon Alaye, Ekiti State, the astute sports administrator with close to 20 years experience in football administration was with the International Department of the NFF before his appointment.

    He attended St Paul Anglican Primary School, Efon Alaye (1972-1977), St Peter Secondary School, Efon Alaye (1977-1979), Christ Apostolic Church Grammar School, Efon Alaye (1980-1985), and the University of Benin (1986-1990) where he graduated with a Second class Honours degree in Physical and Health Education. He has variously attended CAF Administrative Courses and FIFA Futuro 1 &2 Courses in Administration.

    Mr Isaac Sunday Ajisafe was the Head, NFF Liasion Office Lagos (2008-2010), Nigeria Professional League Manager (1997-2000) and Women League Manager (1995-1997)
