As a result of the dissolution of Executive Committees at all levels of the party structure, the National Rescue Movement (NRM) has appointed new members of National Caretaker Committee of the Party.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Prince Obi and made available to Newsdiaryonline.
He stated,”Following the dissolution of the Executive Committees at all levels of the Party structure (Polling units, Wards, Local Government, State and National) at the just concluded National Executive Committee meeting of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), the under listed officers have been appointed as members of National Caretaker Committee of the Party.
“1.Surveyor Usman Abubakar Jikamshi National Chairman, 2. Alhaji Danbuba Muhammed ,Deputy National Chairman ,3. High Chief Sobomabo Jackrich National Secretary, 4. Barr. Obidike Okolo National Treasurer, 5. Mr. Iboro Olu Financial Secretary, 6. Muhammed Dirisu Isah Organizing Secretary, 7. Barr. Musa Isiaka, Legal Adviser, 8. Prince Chinedu Obi, Publicity Secretary, 9.Hajiya Kulu Muhammed Tahir Woman Leader, 10. Olusola Afuye Youth Leader, 11. Mr. Shedrach Okah,Welfare Officer, 12. El-Mansur Isa Maidawa, National Editor, 13. Afam Ezenwafor Victor, Ex-officio,
14. Ojukwu Nzubechukwuma Ex-officio and 15. Mrs. Magdaline Samuel Ghali Administrative Secretary.
“The Caretaker Committee shall run the affairs of the party including conducting State Congresses and National Convention, where Officers that will run the Party for the next four years at all level would be elected.”
Obi also stated that the congresses have been scheduled as follows: Polling Unit Executive Committee – February 5th, 2022; Ward and Local Government Executive Committee – February 19, 2022; State Executive Committee – March 5, 2022 and National Executive Committee – March, 19. 2022.
