Just hours to the commencement of the 2015 gubernatorial elections, fresh facts have emerged to show that there is indeed a desperate plan to rig the gubernatorial election in Kaduna in favour of incumbent People Democratic Party ,PDP Governor Mukhtar Yero.
Newsdiaryonline has obtained a rigging plan prepared by Yero’s sympathisers .According to the document which was cleverly not signed, but dubbed ‘restricted’ , the analysis made by its crafters for the presidential election was correct and failure to act on their plan now would spell doom for Yero.
The All Progressives Congress,APC candidate General Muhammadu Buhari defeated PDP’s President Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential election in Kaduna state.This has raised hopes of the supporters of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai who is the APC gubernatorial candidate in the Aprill 11,2015 gubernatorial election.A politician from Southern Kaduna has described el Rufai as the governor in waiting.
But Yero’s PDP and supporters have clear ideas of how to rig the elections as outlined in the “restricted” document obtained by Newsdiaryonline.The plan includes delaying deployment of materials to APC strongholds especially in Southern Kaduna .Yero’s advisers have suggested in the plan that deliberate efforts should be made to employ adhoc staff to sabotage or compromise the card readers.
The document said in part “Based on the lessons learnt,whatever strategy of winning election that will be deployed in Polling Units and the collation centres,the handlers must avoid being detected or exposed which will possibly initiate a Judicial proceedings or inimical response by either agents of retrogression or Election Observer missions”
“Concerted efforts should be made to employ the services of ad-hoc staffs to sabotage or compromise the performance of the Card Reader”.
