Boko Haram’s chief butcher has not escaped -Police

The Nigeria Police High Command has denied reports that Zakari Mohammed the chief butcher of Boko Haram who was arrested at Balmo forest Bauchi state has escaped from detention.
Force Public Relations Officer,ACP Frank Mba said “Zakari Mohammed, Boko Haram “chief-butcher” of balmo forest, bauchi state, alleged to have escaped is still in our custody”
He provided pictures (above) showing the suspect interacting with journalists in Abuja today.
Mba urged said “ Citizens are therefore advised to ignore such rumours. Journalists too are enjoined to always contact the police when in doubt of any information, please.”
