Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna state council, Comrade Adamu Yusuf has called on the Nigerian Police and other Security agencies in the state to as matter of urgency fish out the thugs that attacked Journalists last Sunday.
Speaking Sunday, while receiving the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor of Kaduna state Mr. Samuel Aruwan, the chairman said NUJ is like an embassy, we need special security to enable our members carryout their functions diligently and in accordance with the rules and regulations.
He described the attack a unfortunate .He however called on Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai to give special attention to youth empowerment.
In his speech, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor of Kaduna state Mr. Samuel Aruwan sympathized with the journalists over the attack.
He said the state government has directed the police to ensure that all the culprits were arrested and prosecuted so as to serve as a lesson to others.
