The ruling All Progressives Congress,APC has debunked the claim by Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose as the party insists, President Muhammadu Buhari who is on medical vacation in London is recovering robustly.
Speaking with newsmen Friday in Abuja, APC national Chairman,Chief Odigie Oyegun said ,“We are glad to inform you that President Muhammadu Buhari is recovering in a very robust manner. We hope he takes it easy and when he comes back, I have no doubt at all that we will have a new and active period of activities.”
Oyegun spoke after a meeting of the party with the Progressive Governors’ Forum in Abuja.The chairman’s remarks were evidently in tandem with the assertions of Buhari’s wife, Aisha B who said her husband was recovering fast upon her return from London recently.
Earlier in the week, Fayose claimed that Buhari had been on life-support for about twenty days.He said the president needed prayers.
Before Oyegun’s counter- assertion, the Buhari Media Support Group had said Fayose’s statement was a pack of lies.
