President Barack Obama has deployed 80 members of the United States Armed Forces to locate Chibok Girls,CNN has reported. The President has informed the US House and the Senate about the deployment. The US troops will operate from Chad.
The letter informing the lawmakers said, “These personnel will support the operation of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft for missions over northern Nigeria and the surrounding area,” it said in a letter.
“The force will remain in Chad until its support in resolving the kidnapping situation is no longer required.”

Boko Haram abducted over 200  girls  from their school at Chibok ,Borno State,Nigeria.Obama’s reported deployment of troops came on the heels of growing anxiety over fate of the girls as well as the relentless bomb blasts in the northern parts of Nigeria.
The latest blast occurred in Jos where more than 118 were killed.A similar bomb explosion in Kano last Sunday killed at least 5 people including the suicide bomber.
There have also been reports of attacks by Boko Haram on Borno villages.
President Goodluck Jonathan and Nigeria’s military have repeatedly assured the citizens that every step would be taken to bring back the Chibok girls.
A very encouraging solidarity message was issued by the Abuja #BringBackourGirls team on Wednesday commending the efforts and sacrifice of Nigerian troops in the ongoing efforts to secure the return of the girls.
Today’s announcement of deployment of US troops is expected to further sinew the campaign to #BringBackOurGirls.
