The Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB), will soon complete the recruitment of 40 officers to expand its reach and boost revenue generation, according to its General Manager, Mr Mathias Hata.
Hata said on Thursday in Jos that zonal offices were being opened across the Jos–Bukuru metropolis to ease supervision and monitoring processes.
He said that officers being employed were specialists in areas like town planning, environmental health, estate management, engineering and technical services.
“When the employment is completed, we shall have enough hands to man the zonal offices and increase our efficiency,” he said.
He commended the Plateau government for approving the board’s request for more hands, saying that JMDB’s mandate would be better enhanced with adequate personnel. (NAN)
