In continuation of his interaction with major Stakeholders, the Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Police Command, CP Zanna Mohammed Ibrahim psc, mni on Thursday met with district heads whose areas are prone to insecurity.
In his opening remarks, the CP thanked the Participants for honoring the invitation and assured them of Police determination and total commitment to partner with them so as to find a lasting solution to the lingering security challenges in the state.
After preliminary remarks, critical security issues were extensively discussed, with Contribution from most of the stakeholders on how best to rid Zamfara State of these security challenges to a tolerable limit.
SP Mohammed Shehu, Police Public Relations Officer said that this similar interface will be sustained by the Command.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police has reaffirmed his commitment that officers and men of the Command will continue to remain apolitical so that there will be free, fear and credible election comes February, 2019.
“To this end, the Command will improve and sustain its partnership,
collaboration and synergy with all the relevant stakeholders in this regards,
especially the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC)” the press
release Thursday said.
