#TrackNigeria: Troops of 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army have arrested five kidnappers and rescued four persons taken as hostages during a raid at a hideout at Jugbere village in Owo local government area of Ondo state.
A statement the Assistant Director Army Public Relations of the Brigade,
Capt. Victor Olukoya and made available to Newsdiaryonline Tuesday, the troops arrested five kidnappers, rescued five hostages and four other abductees escaped at the kidnappers’ den.
It added that the hostages as well as the suspects, who had minor injuries had been taken to the Brigade Medical Centre for medical treatment.
The Army assured residents of Ekiti and Ondo states of the commitment to ensure security of lives and property of law abiding citizens.
Also, Brigadier General ZL Abubakar ordered intense patrol in the states to ensure peace and security.
The Brigade gave the following numbers 09030002151 and 09030002161 for emergency calls to pass credible information for prompt action.
