Reports from Kaduna indicate that security has been reinforced in parts of the metropolis in a bid to contain the fighting which erupted after the bomb blasts today. The security men deployed include soldiers and all others.Kaduna’s police command has reportedly said calm has been restored to the metropolis.
Two explosions rocked Zaria,specifically at ECWA Church Wusasa and a Catholic Church in Sabongari Zaria.A third blast occurred at Shalom Church Trikania Kaduna, a development that was accompanied by what a resident described as revenge killings.
One of the residents of Trikania in Kaduna told Newsdiaryonline.com that “there were killings but the situation is gradually calming down.They have deployed security men ,soldiers and all of them.” There was no confirmation of the casualty figure .
It was also learnt that as the crisis engulfed Kaduna ,some of those heading toward the metropolis from Abuja had to park along the road,hoping that the situation would calm down for the to proceed with their journey.
