Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Mrs Ibim Semenitari has been released by the office of the National Security Adviser,NSA. She was invited for questioning by the presidency over the helicopters purchased for security purposes in the state.

It was not clear if she was given any condition before she was freed but Newsdiaryonline.com reported earlier today that she was invited for questioning because the NSA’s office said her press release, which clarified the circumstances leading to the purchase of two security helicopters as well as the cost ,breached national security.
