The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said on Wednesday that after a careful review of the reports of the Congress Committee and Appeal Committee in respect of the 3-man Adhoc Delegates Ward Congresses in Kogi state of 27th June 2015, it has cancelled the exercise.
PDP Spokesman Olisa Metuh said in a statement that the participation of a “Local Organising Committee” which is unknown to the constitution of the Party and the Guidelines marred the congresses
Consequently, he said ,a new 3-Man Adhoc Delegates Ward Congresses would commence on the 14th of July 2015.
