The Federal Road Safety Corps,FRSC has issued travel advisory to motorists in the wake of the local government elections in Osun State.
A statement by Bisi Kazeem, Corps Public Education Officer of FRSC, said “motorists are not allowed into any town within Osun State as they are advised to use alternative routes to their various destinations.
“Those from Ibadan end to Akure can still use the usual route of Gbongan , Ile Ife, ilesa, Ipetu-Ijesa, Akure as there wouldn’t be any restrictions whatsoever. The same route is advised to be used by motorists going to Ondo town as they will not be allowed into Ile-Ife town enroute to Ondo.
FRSC also said “Motorists going to Ilorin from Akure flank are to access Ekiti State.
The corps urged motorists are advised to exercise some patience till three 3 O’clock when the Election exercise would have been Concluded and free traffic flow restored fully.
