The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) of incumbent Governor Willy Obiano has taken early lead as the Independent National Electoral Commision released the results of nine of the 21 local government areas of Saturday’s governorship election.
The results were released by the state Returning Officer, Prof. Zana Akpagu, the Vice Chancellor of University of Calabar.
The nine council areas are:
