The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) and Governor of Niger State, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu on Sunday in Minna condoled with the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero over the death of his wife, Hajiya Rabi. Governor Aliyu said in a condolence message that he was sad that Hajiya Rabi died at a time when her supportive hands were most needed by her husband to continue to provide leadership to the people of his domain.
A statement signed by Governor Aliyu’s Chief Press Secretary, Danladi Ndayebo said the forum expressed deepest sympathy to Emir Bayero, members of his family and the entire people of Kano.
“We at the Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF) share in your pains and wish that Almighty Allah in His infinite mercies grant you, members of your family and the entire people of Kano the fortitude to bear this great loss,‘’ the statement said.
The forum urged the bereaved family, the government and people of Kano State to take solace in the fact that late Hajiya Rabi left a legacy of a virtuous wife and mother who touched the lives of people positively.
