Kalu congratulates Soun of Ogbomoso at 87



A former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has congratulated the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade 111, on the occasion of his 87th birthday.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Emeka Obasi, Kalu, who is also the Aro of Ogbomosoland described Oba Oyewumi as a rare elder statesman.
He stated that the highly referred monarch is known for honesty and sincerity, which over the years he has demonstrated in leading the people of Ogbomosoland.
Kalu noted that Kabiyesi is a successful merchant who has provided unlimited job opportunities for Nigerians.
He said: “On the stool as the Soun, he has brought wide development to his community and our shared society with his exemplary leadership qualities.
“He is pillar of support to many, especially the downtrodden in the society, which is evident in his open door policy.”
Kalu said he is joining Ajagungbade’s family, the royal household and the good people of Ogbomosoland in celebrating a great personality.
He prayed that God Almighty will continue to guide, guard and prosper Ajagungbade, even as he blesses him with many more years of sound health and fulfillment.
