The PDP candidate in Saturday’s gubernatorial elections in Kwara State, Senator Simeon Ajibola and his running mate, Mallam Yinka Aluko called the Governor-Elect, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed at about 10.30pm on Sunday to concede defeat and congratulate him on his victory at the polls.
They wished Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed a more successful second term for the good of Kwara State.
Responding, he thanked Senator Ajibola and Mallam Aluko and gave them his best wishes for the future.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commssion has declared Governor Ahmed of the All Progressives Congress,APC as the governor elect ,paving the way for his return to office.
