Inspector General of Police ,Solomon Arase has directed that suspected cult leaders arrested in Edo state should be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
A statement by Force Spokesman ,Emanuel Ojukwu on Monday said “Having completed investigations on suspected cult confraternities leaders and members arrested on 12th May, 2015 at Edo State, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon E. Arase, NPM, fdc has directed that the suspects should be arraigned in court tomorrow 9th June, 2015 for prosecution.
“It would be recall that the suspects played ignoble roles in acts of terror, vicious inter and intra cult conflicts that led to destruction of lives and property in Edo State.
“he Police high command further appealedm to members of public to continue to collaborate with the Police in ensuring that crime is reduced to barest minimum in their areas.
