Six staffers of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Adminstration have been suspended for alleged involvement in large-scale fraud.
The administration which would not state the amount involved in the alleged large-scale theft said the culprits are being investigated.
This was contained in a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the FCT minister, Suleiman Hazat adding that their suspension was to serve as deterrent to any staffers plotting to defraud the asministration.
Four of the suspended staff are from the Abuja Geographic Information Systems (AGIS); while two are from the Land Administration Department.
Senator Mohammed warned that his Administration would not spare any staff involved in any act of fraud and that this is a clear pointer to anybody that tows that line.
The Minister emphasized that there is no sacred cow as this suspension is meant to serve as a deterrent to others who may nurse the idea of indulging in fraudulent activities; adding that the law must take its course.
The suspended staff in AGIS include Oluwadamilola Temidayo Adetiloye – Planning Officer I; Wasiu Olatunde Olajide – Programme Officer I; Mohammed Mohammed Saba – Land Officer I; Danladi Daniel – Clerical Officer; while the two staff in Land Administration Department are Yusuf Baba – Land Officer I and Blessing U. Nwiyi – Assistant Executive Officer.
