CBN Reschedules September 2014 MPC Meeting

Nigeria’s apex bank,CBN has rescheduled its 2014 Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting.

A statement by Ibrahim Mu’azu,director, corporate communications of CBN said ,“We wish to inform all our stakeholders that the 240th Meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) earlier scheduled to hold on September 22 and 23, 2014, is now to hold on Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19, 2014”.

Accordingly, all critical stakeholders are to take note of the change in dates and adjust their calendar,the statement said.

Also ,the Central Bank of Nigeria apologized “for the inconveniences that may be caused by the change of date.”
