#TrackNigeria: President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met behind closed doors with the visiting President of the United Nations General Assembly, Ms Maria Espinosa, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Espinosa, who arrived the villa at about 11.35 a.m., was ushered into the president’s mini conference hall for the bilateral meeting.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reliably learnt that President Buhari and the 73rd UNGA President would deliberate on issues of mutual benefits that would strengthen the relationships between Nigeria and the United Nations.
The two leaders would deliberate on the issue bordering on insecurity in the Lake Chad Basin, development and environmental protection.
Espinosa arrived Abuja on Monday on a two-day working visit to Nigeria.(NAN)
