Former Accountant General of Bauchi state, Alhaji Bappa Tilde was yesterday kidnapped by unknown persons.
Family members said he was abducted in Bauchi over the weekend at Nuru Quarters on his way to his house after he finished saying his night prayer before he reached home.
The family also disclosed that the matter has been reported to the Police and other security agencies.
Meanwhile, they have intensified prayers and appeal to his abductors to temper Justice with mercy and return their over 70 years old father back home.
When contacted ,Police Public Relations Officer PPRO Bauchi Command, DSP Haruna Mohammed said yesterday “I heard about it, but I am yet to get the details.”
