Nigeria Governors’ Forum ,NGF has expressed what it called ‘deep regret ‘over the recent wave of violence in Borno and Kaduna states.The Forum also expressed equally deep concern over the air crash involving their colleague, Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba state ”who is presently receiving treatment in Germany”.
These issues the governors seem worried about were stated in the communiqué after the forum’s meeting in Abuja Wednesday night.The communiqué signed by Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State who is the forum’s chairman also said there is need for a holistic approach to arrest the dwindling state of aviation sector.
The forum congratulated Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state who recently won his reelection bid.
