Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Muhammadu Buhari met in Ethiopia today.It was the first public meeting since Obasanjo released his special press statement slamming the Buhari Government.
The photos above posted on the facebook page of Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina give an intriguing insight into how ‘big men’ relate even amidst ‘crisis’.In a dramatic fashion, they apparently joked and laughed heartily and smiled obviously to the amazement of officials.
Former Head of State General Abdulsalam Abubakar was also present at the event as depicted by the photo.
It was really amazing seeing Obasanjo and Buhari laughing heartily.What could be so funny? What are they laughing about?
It may be a big lesson for those back home in Nigeria who may have seen Obasanjo’s letter as a declaration of political war.The lesson is sheath your sword.These are big politicians merely disagreeing over issues. Peace, not war!
