Nigeria’s Acting President,Yemi Osinbajo has received the 2017,his spokesman Laolu Akande disclosed on Friday.
Akande who revealed this update on his twitter handle said “2017 Budget -Appropriations bill now officially received in the Acting President’s office & undergoing very prompt & diligent consideration.”
This development is likely to put to rest the unnecessary controversy over who will sign the 2017 budget in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Akande’s disclosure further confirmed his assertion that Osinbajo will sign the 2017 budget when it is ready
