The Sokoto/Kebbi/Zamfara Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has a new Area Comptroller.He is Alhaji Mohammed Kankara.
Kankara, an Alumnus of Bayero University, Kano replaced Alhaji Isyaku Ahmed, who was recently moved to the Service Headquarters in Abuja.
While pledging to collaborate with all stakeholders, relevant agencies and the media, the new Comptroller also assured of his readiness to improve on the legacies established by his predecessor.
Kankara added that top on his priority list was his readiness to boost the revenue profile of the Command as well as reduction of smuggling activities, to barest minimum.
Kankara had worked in Former Bendel State, Onne Port, Tincan Port, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Apapa port, Sokoto Area Command, Same Area Command, Ogun-Idiroko, Apapa Area respectively before his redeployment back to Sokoto/Kebbi/Zamfara Area Command.
