Alhaji Malami Muhammad-Shekare, the newly appointed Kebbi Head of Civil Service, has appealed for cooperation of the media to facilitate enhanced service delivery in the state civil service.

He made the plea while receiving a team of journalists headed by Malam Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser to Gov. Nasir Idris on Media and Publicity on a courtesy visit in his office at the Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the head of service was confirmed as the substantive HoS by Gov. Nasir Idris on Friday, Nov. 1.

He said the appeal was imperative in view of the important role of the media in disseminating information to the public.

The head of service urged the media to support his agenda and the agenda of the present administration in promoting the welfare of civil servants in the state.

Earlier, the Special Adviser told the new HoS that they were in his office to congratulate and pray for him on his recent confirmation on the position.

“We are here on behalf of other members of the pen, to congratulate you, rejoice with you and pray for you.

“May Allah (SWT) give you the wisdom and courage to discharge your duty diligently,” he prayed. (NAN)
