NSCDC in Osun  gets new commandant

Mr Igbalawole Sotiyo has assumed duty as the new Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Osun.

A statement by Kehinde Adeleke, the Public Relations Officer of the corps, on Thursday in Osogbo, said that the NSCDC Commandant General,  Ahmed Audi, approved the deployment of Sotiyo to the state.

Adeleke said that the new commandant succeeded Dr Michael Adaralewa, who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General (ACG) NSCDC.

Sotiyo, the statement said, hails from Abeokuta in Ogun and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Public Administrations from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun. (NAN)
