A major bomb explosion has occurred at Kano School of Hygiene on Monday.Reports said it was caused by a car bomb which left at least 8 people dead.About 12 others were injured by the explosion.
The Kano state Command of Nigeria Police force confirmed the incident which occurred today.
There was a car bomb incident recently in Sabon Gari in Kano.Another unexploded car bomb was found in the city the following a day after the Sabon gari blast.
The attack on the School of Hygiene is the latest in the unfolding bomb blasts against unexpected targets.Two explosions occurred in quick succession in Jos not long ago.Another one followed weeks later.
All that came after bomb attacks on Nyanya, a sub urb of Abuja on two separate occasions.An attempt to bomb a military barracks in Gombe was also recently foiled but the female suicide bomber and a soldier were killed in the blast.
