The Plateau State Gov. Simon Lalong on Tuesday described the Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Mr Joseph Ari, as a consummate professional who has deployed vast knowledge in various fields to the service of the nation.In a statement in Jos, Lalong felicitated Ari on the occasion of his 61st birthday anniversary.
The statement was signed by Mr Simon Macham, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor.“From your early training as a media professional, you have not only distinguished yourself as an administrator, but also developed your capacity to become a human resource developer and trainer with impressive results.“You have used the opportunity of your current appointment as director-director to take the ITF to greater heights in the duty of giving young Nigerians skills and entrepreneurship capacity,” he said.
The governor also praised Ari for passion for the development of Plateau State.He also thanked him for offering sound counsel and collaborating with the government to train and empower thousands of youths in various vocational skills, thereby reducing unemployment and idleness.
The governor urged Ari to sustain his acts of charity and devotion to God.He wished him many more years of good health, divine protection and favour. (NAN)
