The five- month old strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities ,ASUU will be suspended next week .This indication emerged after the union signed a Memorandum of Understanding,MOU on Wednesday with the Federal Government .
Dr. Nasir Fagge ,ASUU President told newsmen that the strike would be called off next week .
Reports said he signed the MOU with on behalf of ASUU .
The FG had given indication that N200billion had been paid into a CBN account towards meeting demands by ASUU.However the exact details of this newly signed MOU were not immediately available.
