#TrackNigeria: The All Progressives Congress (APC) North East Zonal Women Leader, Hajiya Amina Manga, has urged women and youths in the sub-region to ensure the collection of their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
Manga made the call on Wednesday during a Zonal rally organized the the Youth and Women wing of the APC held in Bauchi.
She said that APC believed in the conduct of free and fair elections to enable the people benefit from dividends of democracy.
Manga reminder the gathering that the cards were their legitimate weapon in deciding credible leadership.
She lamented that a lot of cards in the six states of North East were yet to be collected from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) offices.
In her remarks, the Deputy Chairperson (North) Women and Youth Presidential Campaign Committee, Mrs Mairo Almakura, cautioned women and youth on the dangers of exchanging their franchise with money during the forthcoming elections.
Similarly,the Director General, Buhari Support Organization, Mr Mohammed Mahmud, called on voters to protect their votes during the elections.
He urged women and youths to work towards continuation of the present administration to ensure national development. With reports by NAN)
