Police Trust Fund: Dambatta old boys laud Buhari for appointing former I-G

The Class 78 of Dambatta Old Boys’ Association (DOBA) in Kano State has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing the retired Inspector General of Police (I-G) Mr Sulaiman Abba as Chairman,  Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund.

The Chairman of DOBA Class of 1978, Mr Salisu Dambatta in a statement on Saturday through the Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Bulangu, said that the excellent track record of service of the Abba earned him the appointment.

“The President has made the right choice for a chairman of a trust fund, the resources of which can make tremendous impact in the transformation of the Nigeria Police Force.

“We express confidence that as chairman of the board of trustees of the police trust fund,  Abba will bring his sincerity of purpose, passion for national service and commitment to the Nigeria Police Force.
“The entire members of DOBA Class of 1978, congratulate Abba and all those appointed to the board,  and wish  them a successful tenure,” he said. (NAN)
