Nigerian Troops Return From Cameroon, ‘Embark On Another Mission’

Troops who entered Cameroon in the face of fierce battle with Boko Haram in the north east have returned to Nigeria .
The BBC on Monday reported that 480 Nigerian troops fled into Cameroon .But the Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters swiftly reacted ,saying it was a tactical move not a defection by the troops just as it also said arrangements had been made for them to return .
Today, the DHQ said on its twitter handle that “Troops who returned from Cameroon were today addressed by the GOC 3 Division as they embark on another mission”
The tweet also said “All soldiers are in high spirits with all their weapons (and) equipment intact”
