Media Mogul, Mo Abudu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), EbonyLife Media, will deliver keynote address at the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) fourth Peace Ayiam Osigwe Nigeria Digital Content Regulation Conference.
This is contained in a statement issued by Ogbonna Onuwumere, Director Corporate Affairs, NFVCB on Thursday in Lagos.
The statement said the conference would hold on November 14 to 15 in Lagos.
The topic for the conference is: “From Local to Global: Developing Narratives and Contents For Worldwide Appeal.”
The Executive Director of NFVCB, Dr Shaibu Husseini, expressed his excitement about having Abudu as the keynote speaker, citing her passion for promoting African stories and commitment to excellence in the industry.
“Dr Abudu’s presence is a testament to her dedication to showcasing Africa’s rich narratives to a global audience,” he said.
According to the statement, the conference will be declared open by the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, Barr. Hannatu Musawa, who will serve as the Chief Host.
“This marks the first time a minister has attended the conference, highlighting the government’s commitment to the growth and development of the creative sector.
“As the CEO of EbonyLife Media, Abudu has made significant contributions to the African media landscape.
Her company has produced several blockbuster films and TV series, including “Fifty,” “The Wedding Party,” and “Chief Daddy.”
With her expertise and influence, Abudu is poised to deliver a thought-provoking keynote address that will resonate with conference attendees. (NAN)
