The Peoples Democratic Party,PDP,in Kogi State has Promised to win the 21 council areas of the state in the forth coming council polls. Yomi Awoniyi,deputy governor made this known in Ayingba at the flag off of campaign for the May 4th,2013 council election. Awoniyi disclosed that the giant strides witnessed by the state under the Capt Idris Wada’s administration within the last one year has made the forth coming election a walk over.
The State Deputy Governor described the State as a PDP State and a no go area for other political parties in the council poll.
Also speaking Alh. Hassan Salawu,State Chairman PDP declare Kogi East Senatorial District as home for PDP urged its members to turn out enmass to vote the PDP for more gains of democracy.

In his remarks,Shaidu Odoma,Vice Chairman of the Kogi East Senatorial District,said in spite the presence of opposition candidates, the party will be delivered a hundred percent in the district.
Hassan Yakubu Enape,Leader of the party in the East Senatorial District urged the people to rally round the PDP and Capt Idris Wada so that the district can continue to enjoy peace and other infra structural across the state.
Speaking on behalf of the Central Senatorial District,Patrick Adaba,former Deputy Governor, assured that the Party is now more than ever united in the district after the primaries,urged the people to remain resolute with the PDP as it is a vehicle that will transform the state.
From the Western Senatorial District,Musa Ahmadu said following the laudable efforts of positively impacting the state by the Capt Idris Wada’s administration,the Western district have resolved to return all candidates of the party in the forth council poll.
Various speakers at the flag off,Halima Alfa,the State Women leader,Hajia Zubeida,the Youth leader,Usman Mohammed assured of total victory for the party in the forth coming poll.
