Peoples Democratic Party members from all over Kaduna state are already thronging the state capital as Senatorial Aspirant Lawal Adamu Usman Mr LA prepares to return his duly completed nomination form to the PDP Secretariat tomorrow.
Mr LA, the youngest senatorial aspirant in the state purchased the form early this week as evidence of his long awaited declaration to contest for the Kaduna Central Senate position on the PDP platform.
Thousands of enthusiastic supporters started trooping into the state capital since Tuesday in preparation for the event which a supporter from Chikun Local Government said would be “grand.”
Confirming the event, Mr LA’s Special Consultant on Media, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman said Mr LA had indeed purchased the PDP nomination form and duly completed it early this week.
“There are high level preparation for Mr LA to return the completed form in company of thousands of supporters who have been trooping into Kaduna early in the week.
“Typical of the widespread phenomenal acceptance and support enjoyed by Mr LA across the state, the event is no doubt going to be a grand one,” he said.
Suleiman said even though Mr LA’s constituency is limited to only seven local government areas of the state, his support base spills all over the state and cuts across gender, age and class.
