President Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with Nigeria’s leading entrepreneur, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the death of his eldest brother, Alhaji Garba Dangote yesterday in Kano.
The President joined Alhaji Dangote and members of his family in praying that Almighty Allah will receive his late brother’s soul and grant him eternal rest in Paradise.
The President similarly commiserated with the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, Senator Ayogu Eze on the death of his mother, Mrs. Paulina Omadaja Eze.
As he mourns his late mother, President Jonathan urged Senator Eze to be comforted by the knowledge that she lived a long and very fulfilled life of notable accomplishments in agriculture, entrepreneurship and community leadership.
The President assured Senator Eze of his full sympathy and support as he prepares to lay his mother to rest at Umuida, Enugu State next month.
Also ,Governor Adams Oshiomhole has consoled Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the death of his brother, Alhaji Garba Dangote.
In a condolence message, the Governor said “it is with a heavy heart that I write to convey the condolences of the good people and Government of Edo State, as well as my personal commiseration, to you over the passing of your dearly beloved brother, Alhaji Garba Dangote. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the larger Dangote family at this very difficult moment of grief.
Alhaji Garba, no doubt, had lived his life to the fullest and made indelible mark, as a businessman and a community leader who was also a devoted Muslim. His passing at this time is a serious loss to not only his family, but the people of Kano State and the nation at large.
A time like this, as difficult as it may be, calls for renewed faith in Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala), trust in his judgment and surrendering to His Will.
We pray Almighy Allah to give you and the rest of the family he is leaving behind, the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss of a beloved brother and elder.
We also pray that Allah in His infinite mercy grant him His forgiveness and reward him with Aljanna Firdausi, as He assures His favoured.
