President Goodluck Jonathan reportedly met with some of the G-7 governors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Sunday.Among those who met with the president were Governors Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State,Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State and Babangida Aliyu of Niger State .
Kwankwaso,and Wamakko are among the G-5 rebel PDP governors who have already defected to opposition All Progressives Congress,APC.
Governors Aliyu and Sule Lamido of Jigawa who are “still part of G-7 “ according to Niger State governor have however remained in PDP.
Reports said some PDP governors known to be loyal to President Jonathan were also expected at the meeting on Sunday.
