Governor Aregbesola also advocated for seeking of knowledge at all cost by moslems in the country as  directed by Prophet Muhammed, stated that “if God needs only faith, God will not create human being because Angels had faith than .. any human being”.

Speaking further,he urged Moslems to be patient in whatever they are doing in this world, stressing that God in the Holy Quran has ordered every moslem to be patient and diligent in dealing with Moslems and non-Moslems.

According to  him,”I want to advise the Moslems community in the country to stop building Mosques because there are enough existing Mosques. We should also  be ready to repair  and maintain the existing Mosques so as to avoid dirtiness in  all our Mosques. To preach Islam, what remains for Moslems is to build the House of Knowledge,as we all know, only Islam is the religion that compels every Moslem to seek knowledge at all cost”.

” Islamic Religion is knowledge and knowledge is Islamic religion.Moslems should know that Allah directed moslems to HIM before they worship HIM and what differentiate human being from animal is knowledge”

Aregbesola then sought for the support of the Moslems community in the State for the college project, urging the proprietor and implementation committee of the college to find a structure where they would name “Ta’wunil Institute of Bilingua Studies and offer short term training on Arabic and English languages before the completion of the project site in order to remove the barrier of unemployment of Moslems in the government establishment.

Also speaking at the event, the chairman,Implementation Committee of the College,Professor Alagbe Wasiu Gbolagade disclosed that the main objective for the establishment of the institution is to compliment the efforts of the government particularly, the State of Osun on Education.

He said,” The proposed College of Education will be for the benefits of Muslim Ummah in particular and all Nigerians in general. The Mission of the college is to be the best producing morally upright teachers and to increase the number of Islamic  and Arabic teachers that are few in government schools in Nigeria today.

“The vision is to serve as a centre where we found ember of knowledge in its real  context for the robust and practical development of the nation’s body of education.

“The college will have five schools, that is School of Arts,Languages,Sciences,Social Sciences and Business Education and vocational  Studies.however,we would like to start with two productive schools that will involve entrepreneurship studies according to how it appears in our academic brief”.
